War

  • Description: War is a commonly known past experience of humanity and is still a very present experience. The old paradigm of fear-based competition as the means for survival and power-over others is what drives the wars we witness. In order to understand our part in a conflict of any magnitude, we must reflect on how we are playing into our fears, egocentric and ethnocentric beliefs. If you desire resolution the expansion of your awareness is necessary to encompass the understanding of the roles you personally take in conflicts as well as to understand another's perspective in the conflict, which will eventually lead to a worldcentric perspective where wars may be settled with the common vision of extending human rights and justice to all people no matter race or creed. Instead of making someone else out to be the wrongdoer, express the complexity of the person, their inner and outer struggles that translate to internal and external war. When a dissolution of labels for victim and wrongdoer occurs, a deeper understanding manifests where we can know our relationship to the external and internal wars we create.

the ultimate challenge of the day...the outer and inner war. and #1 = being one, for me...where the war is the opposite.
it is all about relating. the perfect card to reflect back as the alternative to the challenge...and the war. how can we best relate...and be at 1.

conflicts come from within the individual who wants something, not those around the person.
move out of the way and let the universe take over.

create focus to bring my current project to the next level: to get sign ups for my e-book class
i've let one other project take some of my time this afternoon. my actions. my responsibility. i need and have decided to say, "no!" to that other project, and focus on the e-book class i'm launching.

i can relate to taking on too much at a time and finding alot of conflict inside and outside of me. usually it makes me tired and careless ... multi-tasking without completion on any one project seems to be the problem.
act ... instead of react. when too many things are going on and everything is on the move, we really don't have much choice but to react to each thing as it comes along. to know what you want, to see the completion ahead of time and then act to complete it - there's much satisfaction in that.

i don't always seem to do what's best for me. like now: i stayed up all night, and i have a full day ahead of me. all i want to do is go back to bed.
"sleep is good."
